The Downs Tea Room
It is not often that we are asked to find a use for a disused Edwardian gent’s toilet in run down condition to create an income for our client. The toilet had a poor history but was set in one of the largest green spaces of Bristol.
Following a dilapidations survey and a feasibility survey of its potential use, we compiled drawings, applied for and gained consents to convert the property to a tea room.
The Downs Tea Room is now one of Bristol’s busiest tea shops which offers an ideal rest break to all those who now use this beautiful green space. |
